Bucket list, baby

This week, my book went out into the world.

AUTHOR TIP #2

Just because you’re book is aimed at middle aged women doesn’t mean it has to be species specific.

AUTHOR TIP #1

Only send advanced copies of your book to people who are predisposed to like it.

AUTHOR TIP #4

It’s not a disaster. It’s a writing opportunity.

Even the worst experiences can be used as literary fodder.

Here I am minutes after being informed that my elderly parents had been expelled from their tour of Africa.

Just like Debbie & Doug, they refused to come home.

AUTHOR TIP #3

Enlist the services of people who know what they are doing. Thank you Ethan Tulenheimo and Blessie Jemimah for your help with my author video.

It also gives you perspective.

AUTHOR TIP #5

Rescue a dog.

This will not help you reach your writing goals. It’s just a good thing to do.

Have you spotted my book out in the wild? Better still, tell me about your dog.
